Dirk soon comes back, arms full with beer. It takes him a moment, Julia knowing well that his ears must be ringing from all the portaling he’s been doing. She gets up swiftly, coming over to him with a smile and taking half the drinks into her own arms. As she stands by him, she notices movement in the corner of her eye. Some boy, lurking a bit in the shadows. Not in a scheming way, though. Perhaps just a bit shy…
“Who’s that one?” she asks in a whisper. Dirk turns around, looking the kid up and down.
“I’ll check it out,” He replies back, handing most of the beer over to Julia before walking his lanky legs over to the stranger. His bright eyes focused down on the ground near where the kid stood, reading - doting on the archaic symbols planted to the ground that only he saw. Gaining some distance from everything, the atmosphere buzzed around Dirk once more, and he seemed to pop in and out of existence - showing up right next to Rikarii. “Hey!” He greeted with an energetic smile, “You look kind of lonely.
