“Don’t like the taste, aye?” Dirk chuckled, curiously downing a gulp from his bottle. The familiar sour, watery drink that bit at his throat left Dirk with his lips in a thin, pursed frown. “Shy Guys like yourself don’t usually drink it for the taste.”
“Drink for stories,” Julia chimed in with a bubbly hum, “You’re young though. Don’t feel too pressured to do anything this rascal says~”
Dirk gulped down another as if competing, turning to Julia with a triumphant shout, “For COURAGE!” He leant in and stoke a kiss, raising his arms up in glory. Now he was just winding himself up, energized by the people around him.
“I’m you’re wife,” She murmured, shooting a teasing glare at him, “You need liquid courage to kiss me?” The two exchanges glances, and a few quiet laughs. Julia rolled her eyes as she sat at the campfire, turning back to Rikarii. “What’s your name, by the way?”
