Here's 8 facts for Jamina:
.) Jamina had never had a long-term relationship with anyone other than her current partner, perhaps due to her workaholic nature. She admits that while this meant that she was unable to have the large family she wanted when she was younger, she doesn't regret focusing more on saving other lives than doing anything with her own.
.) She became a medic at the medical institute in the city over, which is why her uniform appears so different from the typical uniform. She would change her uniform to match the city she serves in, but it was the uniform she was wearing when she met her partner, so it has a lot of sentimental value to her.
.) When she was training to become a field medic, she traveled. She's been to nearly all the colonies, spare for a few of the new ones. She learned the main languages in her travels, and is, on occasion, asked to translate medical documents written in one of the languages she knows.
.) Jamina is the only person out of 5 on the Medical Board to have joined with a history of dealing with the board. She ran for the position of Chief Medical Director, head of the Medical Board, back when the medical community needed a new leader. She almost secured victory, but realized that her competitor had much better policies for the healthcare of the colonies and for decreasing population issues, so she stepped down.
.) Her family was one of the few who had more than one offspring in the era she was born. She has 5 siblings, and she's the middle child of the group. Her oldest sibling is the only one who still speaks to her and tries to keep in touch, however, due to a fight her family had with her a long, long time ago.
.) She seems fairly happy, most of the time. But when she finally loses her patience and her temper, it is extremely terrifying. Thankfully, losing her temper is a very rare occurrence.
.) Jamina really likes parties, though she doesn't intentionally seek them out. She may be one heck of a party-er when she gets an invite, but she always puts her family and career first. Her fellow Medical Board persons are often dragged with her to parties when she's allowed to bring friends, with some dismay on their end.
.) Now that her own child is out of the house, she babysits a few of her co-workers and students' children on her off-days. She enjoys being around young ones, so doesn't mind helping out with them.
