Allorah bristled when they suddenly heard a shout. She whipped around to look at the bullies quickly, her jaw already tensing in anger. She barely registered that Alex’s watch pulled up a hologram beside her, but did not miss it entirely.
“Looks like you’re the l-”
Allorah didn’t get to finish yelling at the group of bullies as she was pushed aside. She fell down in the dirt and growled a most unhuman sound. Before she even could get up, though, Alex had taken out every one of them. The group was on the ground in seconds and Allorah stood among the wreckage, staring down.
Alex had made quick work of them that was for sure. Allorah was impressed, if she were honest, but also wondering the extent of what Alex meant when she said she was evil again. She had been so handy with just a stick. What did she do regularly?
“Hey,” Allorah yelled after Alex. She huffed. “You could have let me get a hit in. They shoved me.” She wiped the dirt from her backside as she said this. “Bunch of jerks.”
She looked down, though. Even if they were jerks, had they really deserved to be knocked out like that? “Why didn’t you just hit them enough to scare them off? Why’d you knock them -” She shook her head. “Never mind. What’s up with your watch? I saw that, by the way.” She gestured to it. “I saw the little person come up like a… a hologram, I guess? What’s that about?”
