Allorah couldn’t help but pry her eyes away from the scenery to watch Alex wire the car under them differently. She was now certain she and Alex had broken some laws together. No way was this legal.
As Alex answered her question, though, she looked around at the inhabitants of this area, noticing the hints of different abilities all around her. Not only the kids up in the air flying around, but some people randomly lighting a fire from their hands, a girl watering her flowers as she seemingly pulled the water from the air around her, and so on. It was amazing. She suddenly felt out of place, though. Was being a werewolf really enough to get her in here? She didn’t do anything that cool.
She jumped off the car when Alex did and stared up at the strangely unimpressive school. It looked like any other school if she was being honest, but it was fairly large at 3 stories tall.
There were a few people hanging out on the field in front of the school they had walked on. Out of curiosity, Allorah took a big whiff, realizing she had not given that sense a lot of attention as he eyes were overwhelmed. There were too many different smells, though. She could barely recognize any and she itched to transform and run and smell everything.
“So… what do I have to say to your principal? What will convince him?”
