“D-does this mean I might never get back home?!” Eggward loses his calm voice again oh great
“I don’t know, maybe…”
“Aw man!” Alex yelled sarcastically.
“Why do you sound happy?? We are stuck in nothingness!”
Karrie asked. Alex smiled.
“Well, there’s no school.”
Karrie face palms.
Eggward is having a mini panic attack.
“Ok, ok, uh… u-uhh…”
“Aah! Don’t panic! You’ll get out! At some point…”
Eggward sniffled. “Ok, ok…”
“If it’s makes you feel any better, I could go get something from your universe. Is there anything significant to you I could grab?”
"Can you grab me a taco?"
Alex asked. The food from earlier disappeared.
“Uh, yeah. Sure.” She leaves.
After a few minutes, she comes back with multiple, just in case. “Hope these are fine. You’d be surprised at what never-before-seen metals can buy you on Earth.”
Alex grabs the tacos and munches on them.
“I don’t know what you could bring for me to not feel homesick…” Eggward sighs.
“You don’t have anything? No stuffed animals, blankets, pictures?”
“Well, I kind of want that bagheaded fellow that pushed me in here to be found, but I doubt you could ever find him if the portal doesn’t even lead back to the lab.”
“Well, I can try…”
“It probably wont work. It’s not like he’s just going to conveniently trip and fall through the portal by accident…” Eggward sighs. “Just forget it–”
There was suddenly a yell from above where the portal was.
“What!? I swear if it’s him, I’m gonna flip.”
Eggward looked up.
“Oh my god.”
Yeah, it’s him alright. He’s clutching onto his paper bag, so it doesn’t fall off. He hits the ground.
“So you’re the one who pushed Eggward in the portal?” She asked, hovering over him threateningly.
The baghead sat up.
“And it matters to you because…?”
“Because he’s my friend, and he wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you!”
