I kinda wanna do this for an original world I’m developing that is not currently visible on my Charahub, called The Six Hearts of Sigmasia. In short, it’s a fantasy-adjacent twist on prehistoric life, with systems of government between the six main races of dinosaur on the story’s landmass.
These characters just need a little more development, bear with me.
Negiya: And then, when I turned the riverbend, the…Whoa!
Angkaluust: Whoa? That was a lame story. Next time, come up with something more believable if you’re aiming to scare me. I’m still bo–
Negiya: No! Just shut up for once! Look!
[The two stare, bewildered, at my incorporeal effigy. I wonder if they can see me or if they’re looking past me, so to test my theory, I look behind me and subsequently see nothing shock-provoking.]
Angkaluust: It’s…making noise?
Negiya: It’s kinda ugly. What do you think it is?
Angkaluust: I’ve never seen a Spirit like this before. Is it a Dromeosaurid Spirit?
[I furrow my brow, Negiya and Angkaluust are acknowledging my existence! And as one of their revered Spirits, no less!]
Negiya: Wait, so you’re not a Spirit?!
Angkaluust: D’aww, that’s too bad.
Negiya: It’s just ugly. I see.
[Taken aback at the insult I let slide earlier, I approach the Zuniceratops and Allosaurus duo and snap my tongue out in their respective dialects, starting with Negiya.]
“Coss pi ybsi’ oboem omk I’ss bezi i’ay o hodi valri duom kiodu!”
[I look to Angkaluust.]
“Ahv ithie’li hi phlesi iemil.”
Negiya: Oh my Spirits…What ARE you?!
Angkaluust: Could…Could this be the legend Sigma? I–
Negiya: O-Of course not…that would be insane. But it knows our languages?
[I shake my head, a smile returning to my face alongside a raised brow.]
“I am your creator, but no longer am I your god.”
